1. What fandoms are you in? 
Oh, lord. Mostly anime/manga. The fandoms I'm currently active in includes: xxxHolic, One Piece, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Petshop of Horrors, Naruto, and Bleach. Especially One Piece and xxxHolic -- those two own my soul. I'm really in to Kingdom Hearts, and I'm getting in to Supernatural (damn, Dean is hot).

2. What are you studying, if anything at all?
A nurse! I'm a sophmore at  my local college, so I have a couple more years to go. D: I hate school, but I hate working even more. So I'm enjoying my summer break while I still have one.

3. What other interests and/or hobbies do you have? 
Besides manga and anime, I like video games, music, and writing. I like to talk and laugh, too. It might not seem like a hobby to most, but as much as I talk and laugh it really IS a hobby. >.> I, uh, babble. Frequently. Oh! I also like to watch cartoons. Not anime, but  cartoons like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Tom and Jerry, and the like.

4. What did you want to become when you were a child? 
That changed every week! Haha, but... I wanted to be a cop, a forensic scientist, a writer, an actor, a librarian, a firemen, and a vet.

5. What are your favourite books?
Books! One of my favorite subjects evar. I really like Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' series, the 'Dark Tower' series by Stephen King, and 'The Mediator' series by Meg Cabot. The rest of the books would have to be manga, and there's too many books that I love to try and pick my favorite. I HAVE AN ADDICTION, OKAY? *sob*

Cartoons are great, aren't they? Since posting this, I've discovered I'm not the only one that likes them. I used to be teased about it. XD Now I can say, "HA! I am not the only one!"

Oh! My room is overrun with books, but I don't have them throughout the house. I'm jealous! *_* I want a house full of books. They're are great, aren't they? A wonderful way to escape life for a couple hours.

Yes they are :) Some cartoons nowadays (at least where I live) are ridiculously stupid, and as a result I've kinda stopped watching them :/ I miss shows like the original Digimon, Code Lyoko, Xiaolin-Showdown, etc.

What I really want, is a house that has a large library room for all of my books, and it's got an alcove for me to read in, with pillows and blankets etc., like my own little sanctuary :D I'm a geek like that :)

Me too. I seem to be on a Linkin' Park/Three Days Grace track recently. *shrugs*

Okay:
1. I'm kinda doing a little bit of both :D I'm working right now, because it's summer, and I work at a campground in my town. I live in a tourist town, so we get loads of campers every summer, and our population practically triples just for these three months. They can be a right pain in the ass, but they bring in income, so I suppose it balances out ;)
I'm studying something along the lines of computer science, but I haven't really decided what yet, so I don't have a specific major.

2. No, actually. I love them both, and OP is my current active fandom, and these two are the only one's I've written for so far. I also love House M.D., and the House/Wilson pair; Stargate SG-1, pairings of JackxSam and DanielxVala; Stargate: Atlantis with the McShep pairing (McKay/Sheppard); Harry Potter, with DracoxHarry, RonxPansy, SnapexHermione, and NevillexLuna; FMA with RoyxEd; and Prince of Tennis with MomoRyo, TezuFuji, EijiOishi, and InuiKai. I also love reading stuff from Avatar:TLA, but I haven't really found a pairing I love there yet, so I've been reading gen stuff XD

3. I would wish that chocolate didn't make you fat :) I'm a chocoholic, and if I could eat it without the consequences it would bring, that would rock so hard XD

4. People who don't read signs, or just stupid people in general. When they don't pay attention to what's going on around them, and do things they clearly aren't supposed to be doing, it just pisses me off. (Okay, that was kinda confusing, so here's an example: at my campground, there are signs up telling you which lane to pull in-to. You only go into the left lane if you have a key-card and can get into the campground. You pull into the right lane if you need to get out of your car and enter the front office. People constantly pull into the left lane, realize they have no way to open the gate, park there, get out and come up to the office, stopping all traffic coming into the campground, and then get hemmed in by incoming campers. It just drives me crazy, because there are three signs leading up to the gates telling you which lane you should be in.) Wow, am I long-winded or what ;)

5. None that come to mind, actually. My best friend was scared of Puff the Magic Dragon, though :)

Oh, I've seen a lot of cartoons that are ridiculously stupid. I wonder what animators are thinking nowdays? I used to adore Code Lyoko.

A friend of mine and I described what the perfect room would be, and it included a fireplace, a couch and comfy chair, and nothing but books. XD

Linkin' Park is another good one, though I haven't heard many of their newer stuff.

Computers is a good field to go in - there's a lot of money there. Sounds like you have an interesting job. Do you get to meet people from all over the place, or do you only talk with them for a few minutes?

Ah, you like Snape/Hermione too? XD It was my favorite pairing (before I found yaoi). Roy/Ed is the best, but the rest of your fandoms I'm not really familiar with. I keep meaning to get into PoT, but I'm not really in to sports mangas.

That's so perfect :D I could spend hours and hours reading, and even longer if I had a place like that to read in. The only other things I'd need is food and something to drink ;) Gotta eat, y'know XD

Meh, me neither. I usually listen to their older stuff, like Nobody's Listening, In The End, Numb, Faint, Crawling, etc. That's the stuff I love ;)

Yeah, I meet people from Rhode Island, Connecticut, Ohio, California, Florida, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Texas, etc., though it's mostly Canadians. I live in Maine, so they're practically a constant, which gets annoying, but what're you gonna do, y'know? *shrugs*

Snape/Hermione is one of the few het pairings I like from HP. Do you know of any good recs for them? o.O It's really hard (I think) to find good fics with them :/ Roy/Ed rocks XD I started watching PoT without knowing it was an anime *sheepish* I watched it when I didn't really know what anime was, and it was before I had any fanfiction accounts like LJ or FFNet. It aired on t.v. in my town, so I got into it :) House M.D. is a medical show (duh XD) and is still awesome and interesting, in my opinion. You may know the lead actor, Hugh Laurie. Or not, whatever :D Stargate and Stargate: Atlantis are shows on Sci-Fi, so they're got aliens and the rest of it :) I grew up with Star Trek, so I'm addicted to Sci-Fi (only the shows, though. The movies… meh, not so much).

Reese's is my all-time favorite candy :D I'm TOTALLY addicted, and could eat an entire bag of them in fifteen minutes. Seriously, it's not safe to leave on around me ;)

Apparently not :/ Pisses me off, but we are supposed to be courteous to campers. >.< It's not their fault they're stupid I suppose.

Food is pretty important. I'm sort of torn as to whether I'd have a mini-fridge in my reading library. I don't want to chance getting anything on the books, but I hate having to take a long break from reading.

Their newer stuff is better, so true! I think my favorite is always going to be "In the End". Oh, you live in Maine? That's one state I've always wanted to visit (mostly influenced by Stephen King, to be honest). It's cool that you get to meet people from all over the US. I live in Michigan, so I've met my fair share of Canadians.

I do have some rec's for them, depending on how...graphic you like. >.> I know some great ones that have lots of smut and I know quite a few without. I'll message you the links though, because sometimes I go overboard and wouldn't like to overload this message with links. (I'll try to keep the rec's to the few and extremely good).

Roy/Ed is great! It's my only FMA OTP, actually. Is PoT good? I'm not really in to sports anime/manga...I've heard of House, it's really popular here. I enjoy SciFi, though I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan.

I've heard that PoT is hilarious and has slashable characters, I'm just worried that the tennis will be so boring that I won't be able to stick around for the slashableness. My best friend loooves House. I like Fantasy more than Sci-Fi.

He does, but I don't know exactly where. *shrugs* I like his books, but when you think about it, they're all really kinda… well, I don't wanna say scary, because that's not the right word… but they're… nerve-wracking to read, and really leave you on edge. The fact that he's able to write them makes me think that he has trouble sleeping O.o I know I would.

It is, and always makes me laugh. A couple of characters specifically I just love to death, and have me cracking up pretty much every time XD The tennis is actually not bad, as sports go. They have these neat moves that they name, and there are special effects that obviously aren't really visible, but are shown to emphasize them for the watchers/readers. Like, the opponent wouldn't see the effects, but if you're watching it, you do. I don't know if that's clear or not, and if it isn't just yell at me ;)

House is so awesome, I just love it <3 And I prefer fantasy when I read, but sometimes I've found that movies with fantasy don't really do the books justice. :/ Reading is one of my escapes :)

Stephen King write's some good books. Nerve-wracking is probably the best description of them I've ever read, because they aren't really scary, but they're definitely something.

Hmm. I think Prince of Tennis is going to be one of those series I'm always doubting I'll like until I actually get with the program and watch/read it. So, I should get it started. Nope, you're being very clear, I understand perfectly.

Fantasy books are my all-time favorite. Nothing gets me excited more than a fantasy. I also like books...well, I'm not sure if they're in the fantasy category, but it's about a normal person in our world, and they have to deal with supernatural stuff. Like I just finished this Walker Paper series where this woman is completely normal, only she finds out she's a shaman and has to save the world. The girl is seriously funny, she makes these hilarious jokes that had me lol. *Tries to stop babbling about her preference in books* What's your favorite book/author?

Mine too <3 They're just so engaging, and really hold my imagination. I can literally picture the characters/places/magic etc. that happens, and they're so much fun to read. I could spend the entire day reading them, and never get bored. 'Course, I'd need to take a break for food/bathroom/etc., but besides that… XD

That sounds interesting. I've not read one like that yet, but it reminds me of the show Dead Zone that used to Air on the channel USA. Haven't seen that for a couple years now though.

My favorite author so far is David Eddings. His series 'the Belgariad' has long been one of my faves :D It has characters that I fell in love with, and an adventure that's exciting and fun. It's got magic and prophecies and sorcerers and is just made of win XD I need to find some more books to read, though, because I love them so much and want to read more. Fantasy fiction is pretty addicting, and so is reading in general, I think.

Hahaha, yeah it's pretty important to take food & bathroom breaks. But other than that, there's no real reason to get up and leave the book there, unread. XD I'm passably familiar with The Dead Zone. I couldn't read the book, but I'm thinking about trying the tv series.

Unread books make me just wanna read them XD If it looks interesting, and I haven't read it, then it's probably next on my list. I've lost track of time by picking up a book, reading the summary on the back or inside, and just reading the first chap to "see if I'd like it". Next thing I know, I'm halfway through and getting yelled at by whoever's with me that we're late for something XD

I think Eddings writes really well, especially his character development. I wish he wrote more because I love reading about them ;) It's an addiction, all right. I must have reread his stories ten times or so by now. Reading books is an addiction that I don't mind at all :D

LOL! That's why I love Barnes and Noble so much. They actually make it so you have a comfortable place to sit while you "see if you'll like the book and end up reading most of it". XD I love that.

I downloaded the first book of the Belgaraid series. I haven't gotten a chance to read it - a couple other books have gotten in the way - but I do plan on reading it at some point. I don't mind it either :) I just wish books didn't cost 8 dollars or so (and manga is even more). Rereading books is fun. 8D
