1. What fandoms are you in?
Oh, lord. Mostly anime/manga. The fandoms I'm currently active in includes: xxxHolic, One Piece, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Petshop of Horrors, Naruto, and Bleach. Especially One Piece and xxxHolic -- those two own my soul. I'm really in to Kingdom Hearts, and I'm getting in to Supernatural (damn, Dean is hot).
2. What are you studying, if anything at all?
A nurse! I'm a sophmore at my local college, so I have a couple more years to go. D: I hate school, but I hate working even more. So I'm enjoying my summer break while I still have one.
3. What other interests and/or hobbies do you have?
Besides manga and anime, I like video games, music, and writing. I like to talk and laugh, too. It might not seem like a hobby to most, but as much as I talk and laugh it really IS a hobby. >.> I, uh, babble. Frequently. Oh! I also like to watch cartoons. Not anime, but cartoons like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Tom and Jerry, and the like.
4. What did you want to become when you were a child?
That changed every week! Haha, but... I wanted to be a cop, a forensic scientist, a writer, an actor, a librarian, a firemen, and a vet.
5. What are your favourite books?
Books! One of my favorite subjects evar. I really like Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' series, the 'Dark Tower' series by Stephen King, and 'The Mediator' series by Meg Cabot. The rest of the books would have to be manga, and there's too many books that I love to try and pick my favorite. I HAVE AN ADDICTION, OKAY? *sob*
Huh. Looking back on this, I've just realized:
I'm boring. And as my friend Sarah would say - *Le gasp*

Date: 2008-06-06 03:41 am (UTC)Discworld was a series I heard a lot of people say good things about, so I thought I'd give it a try. You should too, it's really worth reading :)
Would you like some questions? :D

Date: 2008-06-08 01:29 pm (UTC)2. The one that has somewhat eclipsed One Piece is Weiss Kreuz...I'm a mod of a WK RP ( The Black Cross ) and I've been writing in that fandom (obsessed, to be honest), FMA is LOVE but I find it hard to write, so I don't (often, lol)...I used to like reading Trigun, but that fandom is fairly dead...I've been reading Saiyuki these days too (GojyoxHakkai).
3. Wishes scare me. It's the time-old lesson of you really don't know how they'd be granted.
4. Tad Williams' "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" trilogy, Patricia C. Wrede's "Dragon" series, Garth Nix's "Sabriel", Lynn Flywelling's "Nightrunner" trilogy (it's like fanfic!), Dianna Wynne Jones' "Chrestomanci" series and "Howl's Moving Castle", James Thurber's "The Thirteen Clocks", Lloyd Alexander's "The Cat Who Wished to Be A Man"...you know, I mostly prefer YA books, with the exception of "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" and "Nightrunner".
5. Haha. *gulp* - America's Next Top Model and So You Think You Can Dance, Project Runway, Heroes (if it ever returns! Augh!), the X-Files (though it's over), Torchwood (is LOVE!!!!)

Date: 2008-06-09 06:04 am (UTC)One Piece = Love. Weiss Kreuz? I'm only vaguely familiar with that series. I tried finding the manga to it, but all I could find was things like, "Weiss Kreuz: An Assain and White Shaman" and "Weiss Kreuz Side B". FMA is an amazing series, though I only know the anime (I heard the manga is way different). I have no clue about Saiyuki though. I'll have to look it up :D
Ah, I didn't know. I'm sorry. Are you thinking along the lines of "The Monkey's Paw"?
Oo, *Writes all the books down* I'm always looking for new fandoms and books to get in to/read, so thank so much, lol! I've only read the first Chrestomanci series, though I have the second book too. I'm too worried it won't be as good as the first. "Sabriel" was good too, and...that's all I have really read (though I'm passably familiar with Howl's Moving Castle).
LOL! I...I've seen the X-Files. And I had Torchwood recommended to me, and I plan to start it. That's it >.>
Thanks for answering ♥

Date: 2008-06-09 01:02 pm (UTC)And it's okay, lol! I don't have a mortal fear of wishing lol, it's just that it seems all the fables tell you not to do it XD
Weiss Kreuz...well, I have to admit, I am WAY more obsessed with the fandom than the actual series. Like, the only reason I even watched it was for guidelines. It's kind of depressing! But - the fandom is love.

Date: 2008-06-11 07:57 pm (UTC)forcerecommend them to my friends. I'm always willing to talk books, though. Now that you mention it, they do, don't they? Huh. I never really gave that any thought.
I see o.O Nothing wrong with being fandom-loving, though. I'm more determined than ever to get into the fandom now, if it's so good XD

Date: 2008-06-11 08:57 pm (UTC)...it's a touch darker than One Piece, of course...but if you read the right stuff, the fandom makes it happier XD
