First look at Meta Sci-Fi

Martin Firrell has posted a first look at his meta sci-fi series. I am so excited.

Ben Browder: "You know what, I was talking to Nathan Fillion. Ohh." [laughs]



Claudia Black: "What we choose to control is what we fear the most. So we really have a need, an obligation, to investigation everything of which we are afraid."



Joe Flanigan: "I think it helps to embrace these iconic figures and these mythologies and apply them to your life. Because your life is as heroic as anybody's. I mean, they're your fights, your struggles."



David Hewlett: "Like a nerd messiah. Rodney is the patron saint of nerds. Yes."



Nathan FillIon: "This January it will be 10 years. It'll be a decade."



Torri Higginson: "Ideally we won't have to discuss this stuff in the future. But then what will be evolving to? What is our point of being here? In my mind, you gotta be here and learn stuff."

He'll probably put it up on his website, that's where the First Look is at. I'm hoping he offers downloads of it, because it's something I can see myself watching repeatedly.

I have such a ridiculous crush on David Hewlett. If I ever met him, I'd probably be clutching a hankie and crying like those teenage girls from the 1960s with the Beetles

Oh my god, you too? Haha, that description is perfect :D It's weird, I was just talking with a friend, but it's like everything David does and says is so endearing to me. And I just want to touch him a;sdkfj; He gives me pathetically strong emotions, like a pressure in my chest. Not fair, Mr. Hewlett. Not fair. How dare you be so wonderful?

He seems like he'd be so FUN to hang out with. Like he'd tell you stories and you'd snort coke out your nose and then he'd make fun of you for that, but it would be so funny you wouldn't care. you'd just be like "Oh David Hewlett!" (because I'm so dorky I can't even call him by just his first name. )

Yes! I've read fan accounts about Joe and David interacting - this one girl got to eat a dinner with them. She said they were hilarious, they had this great chemistry and such. So I have no doubt David would make you choke on your food XD I think of them in full names too: It's David Hewlett and Joe Flanigan, not David and Joe.
