(but only because brave ma'am popkin doesn't sound right)
There was a spider in my bedroom, hanging about an inch above my bed.
It sat there, mocking me. Terrifying me.
After a good 20 minutes of flailing and trying to calm myself, I took a deep breath and grabbed it with some paper towel and threw it away.
I am now jittery.
And paranoid. What if it hunts me down now?
Oh god I don't think I squished it, which means it's still alive AND COMING FOR ME.
brb moving to the antarctic. There's no spiders there, right?

Haha, I think you've succeeded in doing both, tbh. I don't plan on ever getting near enough a spider for its poisonous state to be a threat - I want to stay far, far away from them.
