“It’s just Aubrey, Rodney.” John calls back.
“Sir…” The newest hire looks horrified.
“If I’m not allowed to torment your assistants, neither are you!”
Rodney can almost feel John grinning, can almost picture the appalled face John’s newest glorified secretary is making. It makes him chuckle.

Date: 2012-06-15 10:49 am (UTC)I totally get where David is coming from, because my son and his friends all went through a Pokemon phase.
It started with him just collecting the cards, but it hit a point when he wanted to actually play the game.
With the original card sets I actually did manage to grasp the rules (yay me :-D) but each new deck seemed to get more complex.
The game I really hated was Yu-gi-oh (based on a Japanese anime show) but fortunately my brother was willing to learn it so I was off the hook for that one!
