Okay, thinking about living forever and the frustration that would come with being unable to do anything about the events around me is maddening. So I say DIE YOUNG BUT MEANINGFULLY.

Pairing: Eh, from the 1 fic I've seen of Teyla/Woolsey, I'm kinda in love with the idea. Though I *do* think Ford probably had a crush on Teyla.
Anything: I'm a die young person myself. As Horace Mann says, "Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity."

Show: I had a hard time choosing, but in the end the s3 finale just felt right.
Pairing: This one...I'm not sure I really have a preference. I went by prevalence, and I've definitely read more Telya/Ford. I think Woolsey is kind of like Carson Beckett for me - it's difficult for me to think of him as a sexual being.
Anything: Like I said, I'd like to think I'm the kind of person who'd die for something meaningful, but I'm kind of afraid of dying.

The S3 finale is the pinacle of all things Stargate, to include all franchises and SG1's magnificent "Reckoning, pt1"/"Reckoning, pt 2"/"Threads" 3-parter. IDK how you can get a finale better than that, though "The Siege" does come very, very close.
I have trouble of thinking of Woolsey sexually either, but it *is* an intriguing idea, the Teyla/Woolsey pairing.

I think I've watched The Siege more than I have the s3 finale, but there's more scenes that I like in the S3 finale. I'm not sure how that works out.

Oh, definitely intriguing - and a compelling pairing, if it's done right.

Plato is very wise and comforting. I sometimes feel foolish about being so afraid.

I think the S3 is more solid storytelling, but there *is* so much that is brilliant about "The Siege," primarily because through so much of it there's no hope of backup or reinforcements. It relaly is a hopeless situation.

I'm looking forward to getting to the Woolsey parts of SGA, if only 'cause I want to see if I can make it work my own fics.

This may seem strange to say, but I really don't have strong feelings about dying. Sure, I don't want to, but the idea of it doesn't scare me. Living is a lot scarier, in my opinion. I've this irrational fear of dying without accomplishing anything. IDK what that might be, but that's still what I want.

Even when the reinforcements arrive, the situation still feels hopeless. Like it's not going to be enough, not enough men and not enough fire power. It's good :) Of course, in the finale for S3 there's still that sense of hopelessness...idk, I like them both.

It'll be interesting to see Woolsey interact with Sheppard, to be sure. But I think you can make it work.

I don't think that's strange at all. That's kind of how I wished I felt, honestly. I'm not sure if it's a common way of feeling, since I've never asked anybody else how they feel about death, but it doesn't seem weird to me.

S1's finale is very It's hopeless and no one will ever know what happened to us. Not just hopeless but, on some degree, meaningless, as there's no gaurnete that Earth will ever know what happened to them or what dangers they faced.

S3, though, I still feel is more rounded as an episode arc.

IDK. The human condition seems to be built on the fear of death - religions, movies, books, philopheies, etc. It seems to be natural to be afraid of it on some level. In a sense, the Wraith are a metaphor for the fight against aging and death.

Character: Oh dear. I like Todd, I do, but whenever I see him I think of all the Todd/John (and Todd/Rodney) fics I've stumbled across, and to be honest, it kind of horrifies me. But Todd is awesome. Kolya is a pretty good villain, though. Okay, I have to decided: Todd.
Pairing: I've actually read this amazingly well done Jayne/River fic by Dyce, where their relationship starts very slowly. As I've said to aadarshinah, I have a hard time seeing Carson Beckett as a sexual being. (He's so adorable and I want to pat him on his head, but thinking of him naked makes my brain go "Nope.") So: Jayne/River.
Anything: Well, blowing up a star is the less destructive of the two lol.

I don't condemn people who like it :) But wraith/human sex is gross to me, and it makes me uncomfortable. I don't like non-con (I was sexually harassed in middle school). To each their own, though :P
