I *love* "Wherever You Will Be." And "Tongues of Men and Angels."
Love isn't a strong enough word for what I feel for "The Difference Engine," though. Sam the Storyteller is one of my favourite fanfic authors ever.

I found a lot of Inception fic I liked but wasn't crazy about. Wherever You Will be is one of the few exceptiosn, in that I loved it.

I wish there were more fics like Tongues of Men and Angels. It's a fascinating concept :P

I only know her The Difference Engine fic, tbh. I found her Original Fiction journal though.

I so wish there where more fics like "Tongues of Men and Angels." The idea is just so... cool.

I'm pretty sure Sam the Storyteller is a guy, but I've loved almost every other fic he's written in various fandoms.

I know there's a series where Rodney has a snake in his head, but he's not a bad guy, and he pays all his Jaffa and makes them go looking for coffee. There's even an LJ comm for it! And, of course, it's McShep.

AH. Yeah, I usually just default to 'she' since men are so rare in fandom. Now I want to go and see what other fandoms he's written for :P

Yeah, I think I've seen that series. It was okay, but not something I bothered bookmarking, however much I like the trope.

Sam's written for HP, Marvel, Sherlock, Torchwood, and a couple others I don't remember. He's one HP one which is the only one I've still got bookmarked after mostly leaving the fandom.

I liked the series well enough, but it wasn't an OMG LOVE thing. Though now I want to re-read.

I was into HP in my pre-slash days, when slash was still sort of ~forbidden and dirty to me. Reading HP fic now is weird; it gives me the same feeling running into an old friend does. You remember being close, spending time together, but it's so awkward and you don't quite fit now.

Yeah. I know what you mean. But, if you're interested, the HP fic is called "Cartographer's Craft" and not only is a version of DH that is about ten times better than what we actually got, but is Harry/version-of-Sirius-sorta-sent-forward-in-time, and is kinda amazing.
