Beta request?

Anyone willing to beta a short one-shot for me? I have a problem with tenses. It's for One Piece, and the pairing is easy enough to guess. I usually coerce anyjen  into doing it for me, but I feel bad for doing that. Any takers?

Never mind! anyjen  has scolded me and offered to take a look :)

...I really don't mind betaing your stuff for you, popkin dear. I correct other people's writing for a living (and they're usually much, muuuuuuch more boring that lovely writings about hot guys kissing/flirting/fighting/smexing each other up... we're talking "my daily routine" and "advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones", here. It can drive you insane if you don't break it up with stuff you actually like), so it's even good practice for me. Heck, I've been betaing some KHR fics, and I don't even know who the heck Gokudera is! XD

(and correcting other people's grammar is like crack for me... so gimme my fix already! XD)

Are you sure? I feel like the last few times you've beta'd for me, I forced you into it. And I can't return the favor since I'm not really beta material, so I end up feeling very guilty.

The fourth part is my favorite one. So much gorgeous fanart ♥ I don't know where you get your stuff, but *worships* Seriously, thank you for sharing. I can't thank you enough T_T <--- happy tears

I love that comic in the beginning, when Mokona kisses Doumeki ♥ And the one labeled 100-3. Doumeki is my favorite, so a lot of Doumeki fanart (and SEXY stuff too) makes me extremely happy!

There needs to be more fanart/fic of Watanuki being affectionate. I mean, affectionate the way normal people are -- like wanting a hug or something. Picture 543 in part 4 made me think of that.

My method of getting fanart is, like I told you once, clicking blindly on links in japanese that look like they might contain some xxxholic fanart until I get lucky and find some. It's very tiring, but rewarding. ;)

I actually hadn't done that since my days in the Sainty Seiya fandom some... eight years ago, or so (I feel old). I hadn't been as ridiculously obsessed about a series as to go through such a tedious process since then.

Sexy!Doumeki rules the universe... though perhaps not as much as bottom!Doumeki... it's such a pity that practically no Japanese artist agrees with me on this... ;_;

True, we don't see many snuggly!Watanuki pics anywhere. Guess he doesn't seem like the affectionate type, huh? ^^U

Watanuki shows his affection through grudging gifts (the gloves, bentou, etc.) and flailing and screaming. And we love him for it, to be sure -- but a snuggle would be nice every once in a while.

Sexy!Doumeki does rule the universe. ads;kfjs Bottom!Doumeki, it's so rare and amazing. It's like a precious gem. :( Well, Japanese artists don't know what's awesome, that's all!

This makes me want to go on a Doumeki/Watanuki fanfic reading spree.

I have a friend that linked me to a few places that have xxxHolic fanart, though I haven't searched thoroughly. You know how there's a Zoro/Sanji search site? There's one for CLAMP too, apparently.

The lack of bottom!Doumeki pics makes me want to draw just so I could show the world what it's missing. With my current level of skill, it'd be a lost cause, though. Somehow, I don't think they shall be converted after watching a couple of stick figures in compromising poses. :P

...there's a Zoro/Sanji search engine? :P

I can't draw to save my life either. My friend foxy can though. Hmm....LOL Stick figures is about all I can do as well. I suppose we should be grateful we have porny pictures at all -- xxxHolic isn't like One Piece, Bleach, or Naruto: it isn't as popular.

There certainly is! I don't have a link to it, but I do have like, 50 links to Japanese websites with Zoro/Sanji fanart *nod* I could try and get the link for you, though.
