Well, don't tell anyone I told you this, because they haven't sent the badges yet, only the notifications to the authors, but... I ACTUALLY WON FIRST PLACE! ^______________^

Like you heard! The fanfic that you inspired, "The Woollen Monstrosity", has been chosen as the best of fandom of 2008! Granted, there were only three stories nominated for xxxholic, so I was guaranteed at least the third spot, but still, first place!! first place, baby!! (sorry, been watching too much "Scrubs". Turk's contagious. XD)

I was trying to hold it in until the badge arrived, but one day and a half's my limit. XD

Oh, and "Dreams and Realities" was nominated for "best of fandom" of 2009, too... despite being completed on 2008. I'm not about to correct them, though. XD

(and can you tell I'm happy? ;D)

Next voting round is for the best overall, but I'm not holding my breath. My baby would have to compete with monsters such as Avatar and Harry Potter fics, so no matter how much we love our donuts, they don't have much chance against those bullies... still... FIRST PLACE, YEAH!!

...and sorry for the total lack of modesty. It's funny, because I'm not really one to brag in RL. ^^U
