i NEED more icon space

So, I've once again switched up my icons. I'm seriously considering uploading my flash drive full of icons so others can realize I'm nuts   agree with my nickname "icon whore"   admire what I have. The only thing holding me back is I've been collecting icons for a while now, and in the beginning I never wrote down who made the icon D:

As my title says, I need more space. It's getting more and more difficult to choose which icons to use. (Note: the idea to use lyrics as a description for my icons came from sapphirestar_ who is awsome and I luvs her).

I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL, PEOPLES --- DONE FOR THREE MONTHS, YESSSS. Today was my last day, and I couldn't be happier.


When I really get into a manga, I can't stop reading it until I've read all that has been translated. I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying my most current manga -- it's a sports manga, and I'm no fan of sports. No, it's not Prince of Tennis -- though I do plan on getting into that fandom. It's a series called Eyeshield 21, and here's the hilarious part -- I ship a het pairing. It's not my first, so I'm not surprised, but in a manga full of delicious (male) characters I happen to ship one of two females.

But damn, does that series have some nice men. Most of them are rivals of the main character and some of them I have no idea at all why I'm so fond of them. If asked what my favorite character is, I could not give you an answer. First series this has happened to me -- I even have a favorite OP character, out of the huge cast that series has. HAS ANYONE READ THIS MANGA? If anyone cares, a woman named Kara-lija @ DeviantART draws the best fanarts for the pairing I support (if your interested or just bored, her Eyeshield 21 gallery can be found here). If anyone wants to know what the series is about, just let me know.

As if I need another series to obsess over.

Can't say I blame you, sweety. ES21 is made of the awesome. I'm rather behind on the manga 8this, together with bleach and naruto, is in my "to catch up" list.

And yeah, I agree with you... Hiruma and Mamori would make an awesome couple (if a bit of a violent one).

I'm at the point where the Devil Bats are about to face the Oujo White Nights in order to advance to the Christmas Bowl. I want to start watching the anime as well, but it's pretty long (over 100 episodes), and I'm behind on my OP anime watching.

XD She's the only one that can stand up to him. And they understand each other, and Hiruma trusts her to handle organizing important information while he's off terrorizing training the others.

I WILL. I'm so excited, I have many plans for this summer. ^____________^ It'll be nice to hang out here more, for sure.

It's a compulsion with me; I can't use the same ones forever. Do you like the new ones?

I tried to watch the anime, but I got dissapointed... dunno, maybe it's just me, but it just wasn't as... intense as the manga, plus the voices were all wrong. Hiruma's voice in particular. This is one case in which the voices I had in my head for them were much better than the ones they ended up with in the anime, and I didn't want to watch it so as not to have them replaced. Is that too weird? :P

And I think it would have been fine to leave the scratching out of "terrorizing", there. That's exactly what he does (though deep down... deeeeeeeeeeeep, deep down, he's a softie. Remember what he did for baldie-can't-remember-his-name in the Tokyo tower? :3).

Are you planning to travel, or are you just going to enjoy being able to laze around at home?

I watched the anime, and as soon as I came across Monta -- who has the same voice actor as Usopp -- I was like, "I can't do this. Why isn't he shaking with fear or talking about the Great Usopp-sama? WHERE IS MY USOPP?!" Nope, it's not weird at all. The voices are very important to an anime obviously, so if you can't listen to them it pretty much ruins everything.

OH, definitely. Her handy mop goes against Hiruma's guns, and it's always a draw.
LOL Well, whatever Hiruma does, it works. The Deimon Devilbats are kicking arse :) He's definitely got a kind side to him, though nobody but Mamori would be brave enough to mention it.

I'm going to laze around at home and enjoy it =P Though I might end up doing some travel...

I think I've heard of Eyeshield 21, isn't it the American football one? I liked Prince of Tennis (because I like tennis and the characters are awesome and very, very slashable) and I liked Oofuri (again, the characters XD) so I guess there's a chance I could get into it. The style's a bit odd, though, isn't it?

Yep, it's about American Football! I don't like football really, so I was surprised I enjoyed the manga. Mm, the characters are really what makes the manga -- they're so unique and humorous! I'd suggest you give it a try. LOL Most of the characters are drawn normally, it's just Hiruma that's weird. I think. That depends on what you call "normal", I guess.

Hmm, I don't really like sports, what with being a geek and all, and the only thing I know about American football is that it's like rugby with extra padding. But if the characters are really that interesting...

I want to ask what is up with the fish/donkey head people, but I'm concerned that the answer might scar me for life, lol. The song titles are a pretty neat idea, but what if someone was browsing through them and liked one but didn't know the series/character? NOT THAT IT'S EVER HAPPENED TO ME AHAHA. But sometimes they're so pretty and what if I'm missing out on a really good series?! I like the One Piece and the Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei ones best, anyway XD

Haha, when you read or watch something new, do you immediately wonder what the fandom is like? I do! I don't care for sports either, so I was shocked when I loved ES21. The characters are what make it so wonderful, I think *nod* Well, if you're ever bored and looking for something to read, give it a try.

LOL No no, it's okay. There's this webcomic that I totally fell in love with called Questionable Content. And there's this one strip where a guy named Marten has this dream where two girls he knows are kissing, but then they turn into the donkey and fish head. It's hilarious! They could always ask what character/series it's from -- I wouldn't mind! I love icons, prettier the better! Hmm...I need to raid your icons as well. OP is the greatest ever, icons and other media included. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is always great for a laugh, too!

Prince of Tennis seems to be the most popular sports manga. I haven't read Slam Dunk, but I might give that a go before PoT if it's shorter. Give ES21 a try if you want :) I've never heard of Monster, what's it about?

Slam Dunk is amazing, I'm sure that if you see some pictures you would try it immediately. Besides it's hilarious! XD

Monster is the story of a brilliant doctor who saves the life of a not so common child. It's a very detailed manga, with mysterious homicides and a twisted plot! I haven't finished it yet but it seems pretty cool.

It definitely seems to be that type of manga. Interesting plot, but the heavy material requires you to be in the mood to want it.

Oh, OHSHC! I love that series >.< Unfortunately, all my favorite characters are not really in the spotlight that often, so I'm not really in the fandom. Tamaki-senpai wins teh internet for being so hilarious and cute!

Sports manga are awesome. I find them quite interesting. The stories are really good and it's fun rooting for your favorite teams. ES21 is so good.
