It's been no fun being sick. I mean, it never is, but given how busy this time of year always is for me, it's been particularly rough. Especially since I think this is bronchitis and not a mere cold. Thanks for the finger crossing!!

That'd be neat! I always want to exchange cards, but things get so busy. I work in retail, so this time of year is always rough, and then I usually mostly-solo-run the SGA Secret Santa, so I always seem to forget to pick up some cards. But it is nice to receive them!

Yeah, I'd like to start doing that. Dunno if I'll have the time or the money next year, that's always the issue, but I'd like to try it.

Yeah, money is another issue - gotta buy gifts for family, and these days that adds up fast. You could always start with a small circle of people who get cards and expand, I suppose?

Yeaaah. This year was easier than previous years because Ao3's matching system for gift exchanges sucks, but I have to do the matches by hand, set out the matchups, write & post the announcements, answer any questions/comments/whatever.... 😩 By the end of it I'm always so relieved when it's over lol.
