Since I hardly ever update, here's an Everything Update:

Thank you, everyone, for the happy birthday wishes ♥ It means a lot to me! It's been an interesting birthday. I didn't remember until the week previous that my birthday was so close, and then Saturday they rushed my great-grandmother to the hospital, and she's still there. She's 96 and has penumonia. What more can be said?

But I'm remaining positive! I relaxed and had pizza for dinner. I'm going to try and squirrel away some money each check for a Nintendo Switch. My dog had surgery but she's doing well. We're trying to keep her from jumping on/off the furnture due to both the surgery and the arthritis in her paw, but she's stubborn. My work schedule is changing soon to something that's not as good, lol. I'll have Mondays and Wednesdays off, I think.

I've been super into Good Omens for the last couple weeks. I highly recommend it guys, Aziraphale and Crowley are INCREDIBLY shippable and the show is funny and uplifting for being about the apocalypse. There have been a good many posts on tumblr that I loved, though I have mixed feelings toward the fanfiction. I've enjoyed everything I've read, but nothing has turned me upside down, so to speak.

However, both actors have said, "Oh yeah, they love each other." Michael Sheen is retweeting fanart and has confessed he played Aziraphale as though he were in love with Crowley and was inspired by fanfiction he read. LOOK AT THIS. AND THIS. ALSO THIS. Lol.

Oh I am so sorry about your great grandmother. Being 96 with pneumonia is about as scary as it gets. 😥I’m so sorry I missed your birthday also. We have been killing ourselves getting ready for a family visit. And We spent nearly the entire day at the hospital in Vancouver and the new neurologist for Grrr. More x-rays this time, on his neck to see if he’d been born without some ligaments in his neck. Apparently common in Pomeranians. Still pushing for an MRI and Max is still adamantly against it. I am so relieved and happy to hear that Sadie is doing well. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for your G. Grandma. HUGS YOU

I am also in deep with Good Omens and I feel the same about the fic. Like usually I am in fandom for the fic but for GO I am more for the meta and gifs and fanvids. If you like fanvids, I highly recommend these.

Thank you for the fanvid recs, too! It's so weird to be in a fandom for something other than fic, LOL. I'm finding some good stuff, but yeah, the urge to DEVOUR fic just isn't there. I'm off to watch those fanvids now :D

I've heard so many conflicting reviews about Good Omens, I guess I'm just going to have to watch it and decide for myself. Glad to know you're enjoying it, though!

You should definitely check it out for yourself, and let me know what you think. It's currently fandom's Big Thing, and IMO, it's easy to see why.

I got the impression that Michael Sheen, of his own volition, discovered the fanfiction - and then used it as inspiration LOL. He's very supportive and open about it on his twitter account.

Oh, like Orlando Jones was in Sleepy Hollow fandom. He saught out and read fanfiction, and even prompted fanfic writers to write fic for him, including slash. I freaking love that. :)

So it's not just me re: the GO fic. I wonder why it's striking so many that way? Weird. I still read about a fic a day, but it continues to not grab me. I might have to finally read the book to find what I'm looking for ;)

You could always get your dog one of those doggy ramps so instead of jumping on or off the couch or anything else she can climb up or down as she wants?

Sorry I'm late responding to it LOL. I've gotten very lazy lately.

My great-grandmother is in a nursing home now, which means she was well enough to leave the hospital. Though I'm told that my grandmother doesn't expect her to be with us for much longer.

Doggy ramps is a good idea, though I suspect it'll go the same way the doggy stairs we had build for her: she'll look at them, and decide to jump anyway lol. She's stubborn like that.
