Sims 4 & Perversion

Not too long ago, a friend on tumblr started posting about their adventures in The Sims 3, where they've created John & Rodney characters and are creating a storyline where they fall in love. You can read the posts here, they're adorable and fun.

Around the same time, my friend introduced me to this darkly hilarious Sims 4 youtube series. It starts off following a different character, then switches to one named Jim Pickens. He wants to romance the Grim Reaper, and takes to killing sims to get Grim to visit. And then he starts a cult. Dark subjects, I know, but the nature of Sims makes it absurd.

The final nail in the coffee is that Sims 4 is on sale 75% off, bringing it down to $10.

I bought the game. I can't stop playing the game now.

This is the first time I've ever played Sims, so it's pretty overwhelming. Someone took the time to make John, Rodney, Ronon, and Teyla sims for free, so I downloaded that, because I couldn't get John's face to look right. Or Rodney's. I've used A TON of cheats - I gave them tons of money, upgraded their skills without putting the effort in, and - at least for Rodney - gave them a career and then fast-foward them through it. Once I'm used to the game, I'm going to start over, have John & Rodney do a slow romance, earn their achievements, etc.

And then. My friend told me about a mod where sims have sex, and it's pretty explicit. I actually downloaded the mod out of curiosity, forgot about it, and then the next night was pretty damn surprised when I went to check on John to see if he needed anything and BEHOLD. They were having sex on Ronon's bed. (Yeah, IDK. The mod also makes the sims wander around randomly naked, or do thumbs up toward two sims while they're having sex. Or, depending on your settings, ask to join).

I have the start of my Romancing McShep fic to finish, so I should probably focus on that. Instead of, you know, making sim!John read ridiculous romance novels.

DO ITTTT. It's only $10, which is ridiculously cheap :D And the characters are free to download.

OK, where do I get everything...links?

1. Buy Sims 4 here. Sims is owned by Electronic Arts, which uses this program called Origin to play their games on PC. So you might have to set up an Origin account.

2. Once the game loads, click the big play button on the left side. When you get to the point where you create your characters, look at the top right. You'll see a folder icon, what looks like a photo of a person, a checklist, and three dots. Click the one that looks like a photo of a person. This opens up the Gallery.

3. Search "Stargate Atlantis". I downloaded the second set, but if you scroll down there's one that includes Elizabeth, Sam, possibly Carson. I wouldn't recommend that one if you're new to Sims, because that is A LOT of people to take care of.

4. Pick your set. At the bottom right of it, you'll see a heart and next to it a down arrow pointing at a bracket. Click that to download and add those sims to your household.

5. You can edit their features/personalities further if you'd like, though I didn't. Once you're happy with it, click the check mark at the bottom right of the screen.

6. You should get a tutorial on how to do things~

If you want the mod that lets John & Rodney have ~explicit sex, you can download Wicked Whims. Extract the files and go to My Documents > Electronic Arts > Mods, and paste them in.

Scroll down and also download OoLala Animations and Mike24 animations, because they make M/M stuff. This gives you more sex positions ;) You extra those files as well, and then go to My Documents > Electronic Arts > Mods, and paste them in.

I tried to get these downloads too but I seem to be doing something wrong? I push the download button and get nothing.

You downloaded Wicked Whims first, right?

Click one of these links.


When you click on Mike24 Animations or OoLala Animations, the download link should be green and on the right side of the page. When you click the green download button, a thing should pop up listing all the download options. For Mike 24,you'll want to click the second option - "Futa." Then you have to extract the file, go to my documents, etc.

Well, I have everything but the sims 4 game. Both Origin and EA web site won't let me do anything. both keep telling me to come back later.

No, once the game is downloaded and all the mod content downloaded, you should be able to play without a connection.

It is such a timesuck. I always tell myself, "I'm going to get on and do ONE thing" and then four hours go by.

Well, I made an account so I could buy the game but it won't let me sign in to buy the game. Very frustrating! I don't even know how long the sale is for.

How are you trying to log in? Through the EA site, or through the Origin program they have you download?

Through EA. They won't let you buy the game unless you sign up?

You can try downloading origin and logging in through that...and you can buy games through it, too.

Do you have to be playing online to access #3? I have the game downloaded to my PC.

I think to download things from the gallery you do have to be online, though once it's downloaded you can always disconnect again.
