Assistance Needed

This concerns the Zoro/Sanji manifesto I'm writing for ship_manifesto. It's coming along -- slowly -- but I want this manifesto to be absolutely wonderful. So what I need is two people who:

1. Are familiar with One Piece
2. Love Zoro/Sanji
3. Wouldn't mind giving some much needed help.

I want two separate people to check my facts -- like on Zoro and Sanji's background, scenes that hint at ZoSan, etc. and correct any grammatical mistakes there may be (of which there is most likely many). I'll give credit to them, of course, but I don't think I can do this manifesto justice without serious help. Because I fail.

I'd like to be able to talk this over with someone and get their opinions, and maybe even get some help with screencaps of those ZoSan scenes.

Any takers? *is prepared to beg*

At the moment, I'm just trying to see if people can remember any Zoro/Sanji moments (besides the obvious ones like Thriller Bark and Water 7). And if anybody has any screencaps of those Zoro/Sanji moments. But I will most definitely contact you if I need anything :)

So far I'm still on their biographies, and I'm going by memory. I should probably re-read the manga and re-watch the anime to make sure what I'm writing down is correct, but for some reason I'm slacking terribly.

But I probably will message you at some point with questions like, "Why do you think Zoro and Sanji make a good couple?" or "Can you remember specific ZoSan scenes?" and so on.

Slacking can be helpful, in it's own way. I suppose it depends on when the deadline is (if there is one) and your own schedule. I do my best thinking when I'm procrastinating XD

There is no deadline, and I'm busy during the week because of college, but I have a lot of time during the weekend.

Thank you so much for the offer of help! It wasn't until I started talking about what I needed help with that I realize how much help I needed. I'll keep that in mind when I need someone to talk to!

I can only remember obvious Zoro/Sanji moments, like Water 7 when Sanji was on the train and asked if Zoro was worried about him, Thriller Bark, and Davy Back. Any ideas there?

And if you have any Zoro/Sanji screencaps to share, I'm more than willing!

I know it seems kinda strange but what about during the Baratie arc when Zoro was fighting Mihawk? Sanji's reaction was odd considering he didn't know him. Even the Arlong arc when Sanji stepped in front of Zoro 'cause Zoro was all 'I'll kick ass but I'm still dying' thing. (I use that as a weird beginning stepping stone anyway.)

I'll keep thinking because I'm sure there's others I can't remember. *is so going home to watch it now*

I'm pretty picky with my grammar and spelling and shitz (see), so I can look over anything you need. I do a couple beta's for other people as well.

I've heard people mention that scene before, now that you mention it. I was thinking about it, and you're absolutely right; he did react rather strongly to Zoro being defeated (and presumed dead for like, 2 minutes). Thank you for pointing that out!

I'm sure there are too, I just can't think of any. OH OH! Little Garden, when they were arguing about whose was bigger? Though maybe not. Hm. I've been meaning to re-watch it myself :)

*pats* It's ok. I'm harder on myself than the people I'm helping. I usually make suggestions as to how it might work one way or another and maybe add that a comma here and paragraphing there, may help with the flow.

The "bigger" argument is difficult to forget.

Yeah, and when they were on their way toward the center of the island, there's that part where Zoro's like, "Building?" and Sanji's like, "What building?" and they destroy it together.

According to the Wikia, Zoro beats Sanji by 1cm...in height. 1cm~ (I love that!)

I am thinking hard. Ummm...anytime they fight? (Is coming up short but will endeavour to remedy that. I'll be finishing work soon, so it looks like another OP marathon. *big grins*)

THANK YOU! I saved it, and I'll credit it to you when I use it~ It's a good scene. It was actually the scene that made me like Zoro/Sanji. Before, I had no idea what pairing I liked, but then those two began to argue about whose was bigger and I was hit with 5 tons of Zoro/Sanji love.

Fandom-jumping is gooood. Just don't forget your other fandoms, or us worshippers fans will be sad!

Hmmm. Non obvious? That'll be a bit hard, I'd have to search for them... Which I plan on doing because One Piece is always a good read. So I'll get back to you on that one. I'm sitting in my school's parking lot right now, so it might be a while. Lol.

Movies too, huh? I think the creators of the movies and filler eps stick ZoSan moments in to keep fangirls coming back for more... It works... But that's hardly the point XD. I'm actually not through all the movies yet D= so I'll work on that.

Yeah, I've had to search too. And I've come up with a couple that nobody's mentioned yet. I just need pictures of it, now XD I seem to be convincing everybody to revisit One Piece, whether through the anime or the manga. I'm going to go through it again myself :) No no, that's fine! Take your time, there's no deadline for this manifesto.

Ahh, the movies are definitely full of fanservice. They provide some great moments though, and I'd like to include them. Of course, I'll be sure to mention how the movies shouldn't be considered canon, but ZoSan isn't canon anyway...

Ah! That's so great! It's nice that you're inspiring people to relook into One Piece. Now we can all fall in love all over again. ^___^

It makes sense to include all aspects of One Piece. Like, if the creators are throwing out fanservice in movies and filler then that means that they know there are people who enjoy viewing the interaction of these two characters. And in the giving of these OOC moments, they acknowledge the relationship as something marketable.

lol. That's not quite what I mean to convey, but I'm not sure how to word that... That the half masked fanservice is acknowledging the existence of a relationship... But not even. It's more like just giving a nod to fangirls, saying, "Hey ladies, thanks for being here with us, please continue to join us in the future (in that typical Japanese sounding polite request/plea thing). Here, have something that can be changed (misconstrued) into fanworks so that you will continue to love One Piece and buy it's products." Aaahh! I make everything sound like a marketing scheme! >.<

It's very slow going. School sort of took over my life -- though I only have two more full weeks of school left, and then it's summer vacation (so more free time to work on this).

It should be posted sometime this summer...but first I need to finish it, get two separate opinions/beta's on it, and then post. *nod*
