In a conversation via Skype with rock_mafia, who created this great tumblr blog, the latest post led to me saying this:

I just wish we could have seen Rodney hug John, and John do that awkward pat and sort of wiggle-to-get-away thing.
And his ears would get pink and he'd rub the back of his neck, but he'd be secretly pleased, 'cause he got a RODNEY!HUG

GUYS. I WANT JOHN/RODNEY HUGS. The first part is even canon-plausible, though the second is definitely fangirl-y.
