Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Length: Nearly 200,000 words
McKay/Sheppard
Summary: This is an alternate universe series in that Rodney McKay never went to Atlantis, the mission failed within it’s first two years and John Sheppard finds himself back on Earth as the second in command of Stargate Command under the leadership of Major General Jack O’Neill.
Reasons: All of Keira's work is a guilty pleasure for me, since some people complain that her characterizations are always OOC (so I just go "whatever" and don't talk how much I love them). I think that's an exaggeration: John and Rodney are recognizable, but Keira adds an element of "badass" to both of them that makes me love them all the more. When I'm in the mood for badass!John or badass!Rodney, Keira is who I go to. Add in her AMAZING OC's (I will forever wish that Patrick, David, and Matt Sheppard were canon) as well as her original plots, and fics are a pleasure to read.
