As many of you know, I lost my mother in February, but along with her death I lost the only income I had. I did not work because she needed full time care. It took a long time to find employment and what little money I had saved was used while searched for a job.

I have found work, but just recently and not before utilities were disconnected. It is 14 degrees tonight and my dogs are sitting in my cold dark house while I sleep on my sister’s sofa. If things do not get better soon I will have to place them in a shelter ad I don't want that. They have kept me sane through this entire year and they don't deserve to be sent away because of my misfortune.
