Yesss, another post! But this time it's not fandom related. Not really. Um. Kind of?

On DeviantArt, this person is drawing this awesome series called "Roomates". Four characters that should never be in the same world, let alone the same apartments, become roomates. The four characters involved?

Erik from Phantom of the Opera
Jareth from Labyrinth
Norrington from Pirates of the Carribbean
Javert from Les Miserables

Erik and Jareth in one room, and Norrington and Javert room in another. It's just so funny, okay, because they shouldn't be near each other. And they get into these situations, and you just have to shake your head and laugh. There's also been cameo apperances, like Crowley and Aziraphale from "Good Omens" and Sweeney Todd and Miss Lovett from "Sweeney Todd".

Eventually the girls show up from the respective series (Elizabeth, Christine, etc.) and move into the same apartment building, causing the guys to go nuts. The girls have their separate series -- one not by the original creator, but a friend -- but I don't read that so much.

It's a small fandom world after all. >>; Ashe Rhyder is a friend of mine from college who was active in the One Piece fandom as mettathron. She did all of the illustrations that went with Acquired Taste, mostly because I whined at her.

She also DMs our d20 Modern game on Wednesdays and throws Roommates strips at our heads for test-reading. XD

Apperantly so! I had no idea mettathron was Ashe Rhyder O.O It's so odd to think of the two of them being one person, since I thought of them - er, her - as completely separate. LOL Well, whatever works when getting illustrations.

uhm, this comment has nothing to do with what you posted, but I'm just having some difficulties and have to avoid certain posts to avoid spoilers...
You see, everybody seems to imply that there are huge developments in chapter 201 of TRC, but I can't seem to find that chapter anywhere, and I can't read Japanese... where did people get it?
I don't want to ask in the community in case people accidentally spoil the big news to me... I want to read them for myself and raw my own conclusions. :x
can you help me?

What people do is they get a hold of the Japanese RAWS, and then they translate them by themselves, rather than waiting for a scantilation group to do it. Then they post the translation on their LJ or private site, people read it, and the news spreads.

The translated version should be out sometime soon, if RAWs are already in circulation. Translations are never very far behind RAWs. I hope this helps!
