Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random.

Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.

01. rodney mckay
Haha, what to say about Rodney McKay. He's my favorite Stargate character, and the focus of my schoolgirl crush and lust along with the actor who plays him. Rodney's arrogant and insecure, vulnerable and brave. His bottom lips drives me to distraction, and so does his arms, eyelashes, belly, and various other body parts. He causes me to have warm, squishy feelings, and feelings that are not meant for public (unless you're into that kind of thing). I am protective of him like a Mama Bear is protective of her young.

02. your plans for the future
Finish school, get a good job, and then start a family. All of which seems far out of my reach at the moment, unfortunately. Although I love school, I'm beginning to doubt my ability to finish it. I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I take classes and never seem to get close to getting my degree.

03. your daily routine
Wake up, eat. I usually just laze around sucking down caffeine in an effort to wake up. If it's Monday/Wednesday/Saturday, I have to do my fitness walk for class. I usually return home, get something to eat and then watch some television or read something on my Kindle. Then I eat again, do some homework, and then it's ONLINE TIME and my true life begins.

04. tell me about your dog!
Her name is Sadie, she's four years old. She's a terrier/chihuahua mix, and the biggest sissy ever. She was once afraid of a cookie jar. It didn't do anything to her, it just sat there (in an alarming manner in her eyes, I suppose). She is absolutely spoiled rotten; she gets her way 90% of the time, and she is fully aware she is queen of the house. She's fiercely protective of her family (though all that really means is if someone tries to touch you she'll climb in your lap and bark at them).

05. what are your favourite languages?
I took some Spanish in high school and college, as well as Japanese. I like them :) I think French is fascinating, though I've not had the opportunity to learn.

06. the life of a fangirl
It's full of passion - for tv shows, movies, books. It's about admiration and affection for actors and actresses, the characters they portray. It's caring about fictional characters that mean something to you. It's flailing and sharing, drawing and writing. Fangirl life brings people together, distance be damned. It's laughter and inside jokes and references only people who are familiar with your fandom would understand. The life of a fangirl is (sometimes) late nights and tears, whispering I love you at your computer screen. Living the life of a fangirl has introduced me to some of the best people I know, and I love them.

07. top five favourite rodney/john moments
Oh god, only five? Out of order:

→ echoes; john pulling rodney's metaphorical pigtails - "zelenka is smarter than you." and "celine dion is a overrated."
→ miller's crossing; rodney pleading with john to let him sacrifice himself. that entire scene breaks my heart. rodney's face, his teary eyes; john's pained refusal.
→ doppelganger; john's devastation when he believes rodney is dead. dazedly wandering the corridors of atlantis, numb.
→ the shrine; john's refusal to say goodbye to rodney.
→ the last man; rodney giving up his entire life to save john sheppard.

It's a great deal of fun! I've only known some of you for a short period of time, so my knowledge of what to ask about is sadly limited, so I usually resort to McShep :P

I had to snort at how your life doesn't begin until it goes online!
I thought I'd be completely honest :P Online is where my social life is at - and I don't regret it.

Haha, she really is. Sadie's adorable, but can be a pain in the butt :P

I personally didn't find French difficult. Probably the hardest part is pronunciation. (A lot of the endings of words just sort of softly fade away or drop off into the ether altogether.)
