Date: 2023-01-17 02:28 pm (UTC)It's been a few weeks, so for all I know you've unpacked every box and your place is perfectly decorated now. But in case it isn't, my mother had a suggestion for unpacking after a move that's always helped me:
Unpack and decorate one room. No boxes in that room. Make it polished.
That then becomes your place to retreat when you're "aaaaaaaaah!" about the boxes, especially when you've moved an entire house (or from somewhere you've lived a long time).
I find this works for cleaning, too, when I've fallen behind. The One Clean Room is contagious.
