Zoro made a lot of mistakes in their relationship. His biggest one was acting like Sanji meant nothing to him, and watching him walk away now -- for good -- broke the swordsman's heart. No one would ever mean as much to him as the blond cook had.

Zoro usually let his swords do the persuading for him, but in a situation like this, it wouldn't really work. He didn't want Sanji to be violent, but to love him. If Zoro had been smart, he would have set his sights -- and heart -- on someone a little easier to convince.

No matter how much Zoro loved, Sanji always disappeared at port with the first woman to show an interest in him. The swordsman had hoped it would be enough to have the cook in-between islands, but he quickly learned it wasn't. However, Sanji didn't want a monogamous relationship. Perhaps it was time for Zoro to move on...

It had taken him too long to see what was right in front of him. He'd been too slow to react, and the interest Zoro had been subtly expressing was focused on another, now. Sanji had no choice but to move on. He wouldn't tear the marimo's relationship with Robin-chan apart for anything: nakama always came first.

As a drop of sweat slid down the blond's chest, Zoro's scowl turned to a smirk. He would just have to make the cook pay tonight, when they were alone.
