(no subject)

 I've been really tired lately. I always make sure to leave enough time for me to get 8 hours of sleep, but when I wake up I still feel like I need more. On my days off, I take a small nap, and I still feel ready for bed at my normal work time. Also on my days off, I usually end up with a headache, though I suspect that's because the light from my laptop is angering my eyes. I've got this add-on called Dark Reader that turns websites dark. I might leave it on for a bit, see if that makes a difference. And every now and then, I'll be walking, and I'll briefly feel unbalanced, like I'm leaning too far to one side even though I know I'm not. I don't have a primary care physician, but perhaps I'll call around.

My writing is inching along. It's like trying to get blood from stone, but if I can just get the words out...

I've been bouncing between fandoms. I'm rereading Daredevil fics, some Due South, and even Witcher fanfic even though I've still yet to see the show. There's just SO MUCH I want to watch and it feels like I never have enough time. As always, the majority of my reading is McShep. I'm reading seaward's latest, Atlantis 2020: Milestones. Before that I was on a McShep kid!fic binge, which i might resume once I have A2020 read.

I'm also reading The Bookish Life of Nina Hill and I relate so hard to the MC. I think it's also a case of my needing a book like this - something quiet and fun but safe. I'm feeling emotionally exhausted these days and have so little to spare.

This post is more of a downer than I meant it to be. I really am doing well! I opened up a savings account at my bank. Can only put like $5 in every now and then, but it's something. Between that and the 401k I set up at work, I feel like a real life adult!

I am going to end this post with a link to Harrison Ford being absolutely BAFFLED by lingo. It's made me laugh like 5 times.
