125 Things: A Blogging Challenge
Day 22

Unsuffer Me by [livejournal.com profile] shaenie [Canon, 20608 words]
If anyone had asked John, he'd have told them that the visit with the Yel-Ganta was the most likely of the three to come off without a hitch.

Given A Choice It Would Always Be Sunday by [livejournal.com profile] godofwine [Canon, 2438 words]
At any given moment, Rodney's clock is counting down the minutes to his next cup of coffee.

Running With The Moon by [livejournal.com profile] _shinchansgirl_ [AR, preslash, WIP, 128308 words]
Rodney used to have a job in research; John used to be in the military. Rodney used to live alone; John hasn't lived alone in centuries. Rodney used to be human; John used to be human. Circumstances force them together and each has to learn how to cope - both as humans, and as wolves.

Note: This fic is a WIP that may be abandoned. The first two installments - Keep Holding On (either version) and Through The Rain are complete as they are, however.

Hard Candy // As Hands Do // Industrial Arts by [livejournal.com profile] runpunkrun [Canon, 2445 words altogether]
In which I cheat and name three short fics, because I can. (But honestly because I can't choose. And nobody cares, right? Right.)

Circle Yes or No by [livejournal.com profile] chellefic [Canon, 11456 words]
Vacationing with John isn't all Rodney thought it would be.

I'm tired. I worked a little on my Big AU fic and it pretty much sucked all the energy out of me. Also came across this post (which shall go unnamed) that was pretty hard on several SGA fics that I love. So now I'm feeling down. I think I may go to bed.

psssst Some people don't like pie either. It baffles me. *fondles allllll your recs*

This Big AU fic sounds very interesting. If you were closer I'd bring you coffee and poke you until you finished it (and pie)

Well, I know that I love your recs, it's all about sharing the fannish love.

I have no love for people who are only in fandom to squash our squee.

Keep being awesome \o/ (and ignore the imbeciles).

Hey, fandom is full of amazing fic that I've never read because for one reason or another, they weren't 'my thing'. That doesn't diminish the enjoyment of other people or the fic itself.

And your list here keeps showing me stories I've never even heard of--which goes to show how great, deep, and still untapped is the well of SGA for me! Yay!

Yay, too, on the Big AU fic! I've been working on stuff too, and I know what it's like to come up for air and feel as though all you want is a cigarette and a bed--and I don't even smoke! ;-)

*squees about Big AU*

(I also have this desire to do a Scrappy-do "Roh?" about this hateful post you mentioned.)

I thoroughly endorse your idea to completely ignore that post henceforth & maintain that you never even saw it. As hard as it is to think that others don't love your 'kids' as you do, please remember that those are their opinions. Even if you respect their opinions (usually), your opinions aren't wrong. Intelligent, good-hearted people can honestly disagree & all be right on matters of taste.... Myself, I love a good smooshy clichéd fic sometimes! It comforts me & soothes ruffled nerves & just helps me be happy in an uncomplicated way. I like other kinds of fics at other times, too, & that's OK. Sometimes your heart/brain/spirit wants to do 'serious research' & sometimes it wants to read the funnies. ;-)

Ooooh, a Big AU Fic?!? Did I know about this? I'm sorry it kicked your butt yesterday but I do so like reading fics from you....
