So beautiful!
*flails*
Thank you so much,
anyjen , I love what you sent me! The skull-and-crossbones immediately made me think of One Piece, and the heart is adorable (and my favorite color! *flails some more*) I'm not sure I have the heart to use them, I want them to last forever.
God, I have the greatest friends EVER.

...and that the skull-and-crossbones was a good choice. I was thinking of One Piece (and Captain Jack Sparrow. *___*) when I picked that pattern, but once it was done I thought it looked kind of creepy... ^^U
It would have been better if I'd used a real One Piece pirate flag pattern, but I didn't find any and I'm not good enough to make my own patterns from scratch yet... :(
Do with them as you please. They're sturdy and if they eventually get damaged with use (or if the colour fades) I can always make you more. :)

One Piece and Captain Jack Sparrow...both awesome things to think about XD Haha, I think it looks great. Maybe it is a little creepy, but I'm cool with that. I suppose creepy = awesome to me? I do like horror movies/games...
That's okay! What I have is amazing enough, I might have had a heart attack if you had managed anything fandom-y.
That's true...perhaps I'll give them a try. But I really don't want them to get ruined, so I think if I do use them I'll be thinking the entire time, "Please last, please last forever..."

Maybe next time, then. XD
Boy, you really do like them! Well, they're yours. You decide what you do or don't do with them. ^^
Just remember not to use them to take your make-up off. Mascara can really stain cotton, particularly the water-proof kind...
Another option is to starch them and use them as doilies... Apparently these things last longer that way (we're talking decades), but I've never done it, so I can't be sure...

I do! I've gotten presents before, of course, but nothing that was actually made by them. I feel so special.
I don't actually wear make-up, so I'm not too worried about that.
Hmm...that's an idea too. I'll have to talk to my mom about that. I don't know anything about dollies or starching them, I'd probably end up doing something terrible wrong.

Hee, that's what I love the most about knitting. You can give something really unique as a present. ^___^
To tell you the truth I don't really know that much about starching things. I once watched my grandma starch a hat, but that's about it. I've never attempted it myself.

Yes! Something you put effort into, which makes it all the better. Not that I dislike the other presents I've gotten, of course. But it's nice knowing you worked (even if it was only a little) to make me something.
Me either. I'm not really much of a homemaker; I don't really know much about anything household-related.

Wait until you start living on your own. Then you'll learn, simply because there'll be no-one else to do it for you. That's how I learned. ^^U

Haha, I bet! There's always the internet to look up how-to's on, as well.

I love simplicity, too! There's a certain beauty in it... though I tend to get bored if something I'm making is too easy, so I often try to look for something that will pose a bit of a challenge. :)
