Yeah, well, my motto is no major decisions (including answering a comment or email) without dinner and at least 8 hours of sleep. It's a motto I seldom adhere too, but it's a good one! :-)
I read extensively when I first discovered SGA, but only through the major archives of the day, hence I suspect I've missed out on a lot of good fic only posted on LJ before I got here. Once I began writing myself, I was always torn between time to read and time to write, and writing usually won. These days I'm striving for balance, though what that is changes from day to day. :-)
I'm working on couple of things right now, with a couple of more in the wings nudging me impatiently. The hard part is finding the energy to write at the end of a long day--sometimes it is easier to play around online, engaging in interesting conversations. *looks around guiltily* :-)
