Do you have to follow the movie exactly? I mean, it's your story, right? Just do what you want. Stories are always better when you're focusing on what you want.

I'm having the same problem right now on my John in Pegasus story bc Rodney isn't there and I miss him so I keep having him write cranky letters to John to keep him in the story heh.
